32 year old Ejiofor chioma has been charged before Isolo Magistrates’ Court after she bit off the lower lip off one Ada Samuel whom Ejiofor accused of spreading gossip about her.
The incident happened at Canal Extension, off Itanola
Drive, Ajao Estate, Lagos where the two friends reside.Trouble started
after Chioma, a mother of four whose husband had relocated to their
village in Umuahia, Abia State, accused Ada of gossiping with her name
to the neighbours.
A heated argument ensued which led to a serious
fight.Chioma then grabbed Ada and bit off part of her lower lip and spat
it on the ground.
Ada started bleeding profusely and was rushed to a
hospital, while Chioma was arrested and taken to the Police Station at
Ajao Division and later charged to court.
she pleaded not guilty and the presiding Magistrate, Mrs
Y. R. Pinheiro granted her in the sum of N20,000 with one surety in like
sum. She was remanded in prison custody until she met the bail.
