In the spirit of celebrating Nigeria’s
54th Independence, award singer Yemi Alade presents a stirring rendition
of the Nigerian National Anthem christened “Arise, O Compatriots”.
The “Johnny” crooner shows vocal
restraint accompanied by a piano, as she soulfully sings the first and
second stanzas of the anthem. She wishes everyone a Happy Independence
Day, praying for a prosperous and united Nigeria despite our
religious/ethnic differences as she shares two tribes.
